Our Mission: To present the Gospel to all who enter our chapel and to all who pass by; to lift up the name of Jesus; and to help make our fair a good place for young and old alike to meet.

For more than four decades, The Fairtime Chapel has entertained and inspired countless visitors to the Barron County Fair in Rice Lake.  The Chapel, the only one of its kind in the State of Wisconsin, celebrated 40 years at the fair last July 2023. This year, to expand our vision for the next 40 years, the Fairtime Chapel is casting the vision to celebrate rural life where we are working with the churches of Barron County to foster the values and witness to Christian life in a rural area.

The Fairtime Chapel invites you and any other musicians you know to share your gifts, share the message of hope, and lift up the Name of Jesus at the Barron County Fair, July 17-21, 2024.  Each musician will not only be able to share their gifts and the message of Jesus, but we pray this opportunity will help celebrate your church and Christian living in your rural location.  All churches are invited to join us in this ecumenical effort.  On Saturday evening of the fair, at 6:00 pm, the St. Joseph Catholic Church community will have Mass for any fairgoers to attend.  Sunday morning the chapel will host an Ecumenical Church Service at 10:00 am. All are welcome.

Chapel hours are 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Thursday through Saturday, and there will be an ecumenical church service at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.  We also celebrate a Catholic Mass on Saturday evening at 6:00 pm.
